Our Building

In planning our building we wanted an end product that was easy to heat, and that was bright and comfortable for our clients to enjoy their learning experience, and for our to staff to work in.

This all had to be intergrated into our into our responsibility to our environment. Our building does not use fossil fuels: No Gas, No Oil!!

We use an "air to water" heat exchange system. This works in reverse to your fridge, instead of creating frost, it creates heat. This heat is used to run all our under floor heat system, our tap water and our fan coils in the training rooms.

Our building has been insulated to the highest standards, with beading pumped into a larger than standard cavity and 200mm insulation above our suspended ceilings. We wanted as much light as possible and this gives us "thermal heat" even in the winter time, with minimum amounts of sun.

We have installed 6 units of solar panels to give free water heat up to 21° C. By combining all of these initiatives, we have a very comfortable working and learning environment that is environmentaly friendly, and very effective to maintain.
