Manual Handling Risk Assessment

A Manual Handling Risk Assessment is required to comply with the SAFETY, HEALTH & WELFARE AT WORK (GENERAL APPLICATION) REGULATIONS, 1993, S.I. No. 44.

Ref: Part 6, Manual Handling of Loads Regulation 27-28, and the NINTH SCHEDULE.

The methods we have chosen comply with the requirements of the

EIGHT SCHEDULE – Reference Factors for the Manual Handling Loads and the

NINTH SCHEDULE – Individual Risk Factors of these Regulations.

Our Risk Assessor will discuss with you, your main Manual Handling issues. They will risk assess these tasks and complete a report as well as a Risk Assessment.
