Case Study – Occupational First Aid

A Client required 3 of their staff attend a Refresher FETAC Occupational First Aid course.

They had requested attending a ‘public course’, where they would have to travel just over an hour to the training venue. When we chatted about the various options, they achieved much better value by the HSS Tutor attending their premises.

Within the 1 day Refresher Training program, we were able to also train an additional 4 people within the company to ‘Emergency First Aider‘ level. Thus, in the absence of a person qualified to Occupational First Aid level, the business still had persons trained to a high standard.

This was all part of the 1 day program, which cost just a little over the cost of 3 persons attending a ‘public’ Refresher Training program.

All in all, the Client achieved a major cost saving, as well as a much more enhanced service, with more persons trained to a very high standard.
